“I love talking to people and telling them about the One who saved my life: Jesus Christ. My wife is my greatest interest…she is my best friend and my favorite person. The best time of day for me is the evening, because I am on the floor playing with my children. I enjoy fly-fishing, deer and pheasant hunting with family and friends. I love the bride of Christ and enjoy reading books on church health and revitalization. I always thought I would be an evangelist, but it was while pastoring a little church that I fell in love with being a pastor of God’s church. My love for God’s church has not changed.”

Following the invitation, the church will be called into a business
session. The Pastor Search Committee will bring a motion to
affirm Bro. Michael D Hardaway as Senior Pastor of
Glenview Church.
(As per church by-laws a ballot vote will be taken, counted and an
immediate report will be brought back to the church)

Michael D. Hardaway completely fulfills the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7. He is a man of prayer and compassion. He is a man who genuinely loves and leads his family. He is well equipped with much experience, education and ministry maturity. He is a man of character, integrity and knowledge. He is a team builder and collaborator. He is a man of the Word, a man of the Gospel. He preaches in the expository tradition. His message delivery is clear, simple and relevant. One reference from a former church said simply, “He’s special!” His wife Heather exhibits a servant heart, support for her husband, love for her children and a warm and friendly spirit.
