Haltom City Growth Days Ahead
(See Link Below)

WE HAVE ANTICIPATED THIS GROWTH AROUND
GLENVIEW FOR YEARS.
NOW IT IS EMINENT!

The timing could not be better as we go deep into our search for a new Senior Pastor. Glenview must be poised for meeting the needs of people already around us and for the hundreds of families who will soon be part of our community. The master plan calls for 225 homes behind the church, 960 apartments directly across from the church and plans for hotel accommodations.

Richard Hutchison, former Mayor of Haltom City and member of our Pastor Search Committee said, "We began planning for this a long time ago. Now it is here."

WHERE WE STAND ON THE SEARCH FOR A SENIOR PASTOR:

The Pastor Search Committee has received nearly 300 resumes from some of the finest men of God anywhere. We have prayed over and carefully sifted through every resume sent. What a rewarding experience this has been, reading over resumes reflecting the hearts of men who are diligently seeking to hear from God. In the last couple of weeks we have narrowed that search from the original nearly 300 to about 70.

We desperately need your prayers over the next month. We hope to narrow the field to 20 or so by the end of January, 2018.

Thank you Dr. Tony Wolfe for leading our church during this interim time. Thank you Dan Gilbert and Sam Jones for providing the day to day leadership we need at this time in the life of our church.

Pray for Operation Christmas with Mercy Heart and Inmate families this Saturday, December 16.

Hope to see you at the community caroling night Wednesday, December 20.

God bless. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
